In 2006, FGGS First Global Gear Services LLC was established in the USA to provide additional support to the OEM and End User during the start-up and commissioning of FLENDER Graffenstaden gearboxes. Since then, FGGS has been supporting all gearbox-related services, including OEM parts replacement to our customers throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Brazil.
As an Ariba Purchasing approved supplier, FGGS has an experienced staff of mechanical engineers and project managers, with a proven OEM and End User success record. Our team supports the customers from order intake, drawing review, API 613 testing, gear installation and start-up at the job sites.

At FGGS (First Global Gear Services LLC), our story is one of resilience, hard work, and a deep-rooted connection to the industries we serve. Our journey began in 1910 when the Rotunno family arrived in the United States of America through Ellis Island. Mr. Dionosio Rotunno, our Great-Grandfather, found success by starting a fuel and coal distribution business in Brooklyn, NY in 1925. This humble venture would mark the Rotunno family’s entry into the oil and gas industry—a legacy that continues to influence our work today.
This entrepreneurial spirit, passed down through generations, is the foundation of FGGS Services. Today, we continue to operate with the same dedication to excellence, innovation, and customer service that our Father Dennis SR. instilled in the Rotunno name over a century ago.

In 2006, FGGS First Global Gear Services LLC was established in the USA as the Exclusive Representative to provide additional support to the OEM and End User during the start-up and commissioning of Flender Graffenstaden gearboxes. Since then, FGGS has been supporting all gearbox-related services, including aftermarket OEM parts replacement, to our customers throughout North America and Brazil.
In 2011, FGGS expanded its operations and opened a new office in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil, as the exclusive field services and parts representative for FLENDER
In 2017, FGGS signed a Winergy Certified Service Partner agreement.
Carlyle purchases FLENDER Group
FGGS added a FLENDER Turbo Gear installed exclusively for internal training.
FGGS is proud to announce the opening of a new Internal Gearbox Training and Service Facility in Laramie, Wyoming. This location will serve as a regional hub for gearbox field service equipment support, offering spare parts inventory and local technical support.
It is great to be part of the heart and soul of all the Gearboxes being manufactured for our customers from Design Engineering to Heat treating, Grinding, and Cutting of the gears, Testing, and Final Assembly.
